Tonight is Replica Ring Night!
Last year, the Potomac Nationals won the Carolina League Championship! Tonight, the first 1000 fans will get a replica ring. Thanks to my brother, Jared, I will be attending tonight's Season Opener with my pops. I hope to be one of the first 1000 in the gate, so I can get myself a replica ring.

Turns out that there is a little bit of luck for the fans, as Jayson Werth will be playing for Potomac Nationals. Jayson was placed on the 15-day disabled list by Washington on April 6th. He will be playing tonight for the third time as a Potomac National, while he rehabs from a recent surgery.

Baseball in St. Louis

I may have to plan a trip that overlaps Wednesday, July 29th to St. Louis this year.  I think my cousin MichaelBarbara, Stephen, and Cara might want to join me.

Build a lumber storage cart for your workshop

Both my brother +Jared Orazi, and my dad seem to have an abundance of left over wood after working on various projects.  My brother tends to resolve this by tossing pieces that go unused for a while, to keep his garage/workshop area clean.  My dad, however, keeps his as he has a larger area for storage.

While browsing around the interwebs, I happened across this post on Lifehacker.  It looks like a nice storage rack, and I think I might work with my brother to build one.

Yesterday morning (Feb 3, 2015), as I drove in to work, I saw the largest half moon I'd seen in a while. When I say a half moon, I don't mean in the Phases of the Moon, because Feb 3 was a Full Moon.  We had some cloud cover, and as the moon set, it reached the end of the clouds.  It looked exactly like the TBS Logo.  Unfortunately, I was driving at the time, and did not get a picture.

I did, however, get a colorful shot of the sunrise when I got to work!  The camera did not capture the image that I saw.  I attribute that to using a cellphone camera that is a couple years old now.  Two edits in Google, and this is what I saw.

The 2014 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction

The 2014 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction is on HBO, so I decided to watch since I love music so.  I tuned in about 15 min after it started, so I missed Peter Gabriel.  The first part I saw was Linda Ronstadt's Induction. My first memory of her was her appearance on The Muppet Show singing Blue Bayou with Kermit.  After a tribute to her, there was a great introduction of KISS by Tom Morello.  I wish they played after their speeches.  Currently, (as I watch this reairing) Cat Stevens sings a few songs I listened to as a youth, and throughout my life.
Ok, perhaps after I get my garage cleaned up, and my tools over to my house... I might venture out and attempt this masterpiece.

I have a feeling that I'll be asking advice from both my dad and Jared... but it may end up at the house of Zac and Alice.

NAS Build for less than $250 (without drives)

I may have to remember this when I go to build mine soon.

Google Domain Services

Today I completed my transfer of orazi.net to google's domain hosting.  The settings seem to be fairly easy to handle.  I've decided to use Blogger as the main front end of the site for now.  I'm sure I'll eventually change it to a subdomain and use Google Sites for the front end.

Basically, I'm testing out some free hosting capabilities of Google, and using their very affordable domain service ($12 / year).  Email is also free, and is hosted on Google Apps.  (I've been using that for a while though, with orazi.net, as well as cdvfd.org and gmvrs.org.)

If this goes fairly well, I'll migrate orazi.com as well.
